Current learning theory as it pertains to authoring microcomputer CAI programs is examined. Students will create a program of microcomputer assisted instruction with appropriate documentation and student/teacher support materials.

This course, taught by Dr. Parton, was an entry-level course on designing and developing applications for our classrooms. We used various types of technology (Alice, Scratch, Flash, Kodu, and Android Apps) to create projects that we were able to take back to our classrooms and students. I really enjoyed this class and learning other software that I can use to boost student engagement.
