Philosophy

A teacher's foundational philosophy is an important aspect to their approach to teaching and learning, professional development, and overall view of technology's place in the world.

My primary views on educational technology were developed from Renata Phelps' approach to professional development and the contrasting views of Neil Postman and Marshall McLuhan. My professional develpment plan based on the work of Renata Phelps can be found here, while a position paper on the works of Marshall McLuhan can be found here.
