A webquest created by Mary Boudreaux
3rd-5th grade Social Studies class

Congratulations!  You have traveled around the entire United States and have learned what the states in each region have in common.  Now climb on board so you can travel to two states in different regions to compare them and decide which one you would rather live in.

Each student will choose two states from two different regions to compare and contrast.  You will need to find the following information about both of your states:

Each student will then create a Venn Diagram to compare the two states and create a slide show about their favorite state.

    Choose two states.

Look up information on the following internet sites, listed in Resources, and record your answers on the U.S. worksheet. Print a copy of the completed worksheet.

Create a Venn Diagram to compare the two states, using the Venn Diagram template.  Print a copy of your completed Venn Diagram.

Create a slide show about your favorite of the two states. Save it in your teacher's folder.
